okay, i'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to cars so bear with me...my civic died out of nowhere while i was driving it so we replaced the distributor with a used one and it seemed to do the trick. a month later the car did the same thing and this time we've replaced it with a brand new one. i made it probably five miles after it was put in before the car died yet again. i've been trying to determine what it is i need to do. i know distributors are a common problem for civics of this generation, but to have to replace it twice in an hour? ridiculous. i was thinking that the spark plugs and wires might be the problem.
what could be causing this?
