For whatever reason I just had an oil change for my 2006 Honda Civic and had them use synthetic oil for the first time. I don't know what I was thinking and I certainly did not investigate it enough before doing it.

Now I am reading online some people stating it is great to do and others stating that it is a waste of money. That's fine. But I have also read a few comments online where people have stated that once you put synthetic oil in a car you must always use synthetic oil for future oil changes? Is this true? I hope not...
I did use the Honda recommended oil 5W-20

I don't want to make it like over board with 5 bass speakers, racing stripes, Nos etc... just things that will turn heads and make people say nice car.
