Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with Jim Trenary Chevrolet.
The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure.
Finalizing your Purchase:

Jim Trenary Chevrolet will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes.
Successful high bidder MUST communicate with Kent at Jim Trenary Chevrolet by e-mail or phone(618)580-3559 within 24 hours of the auction ending to make arrangements to complete their transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, we reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer.
In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of $1000 by major credit card, cash in person or bank certified funds. All Texas residents are subject to state and local taxes, title and license fees. All winning bidders must pay a $325.05 Doc Fee, $5.00 Deputy Fee as well as a Texas Vehicle Inventory Tax of .002090 based on the purchase price.  Deals that require the dealer to estimate out of state taxes and fees will be assessed a $100 service fee that will be added to the sales price, in addition to the normal Doc Fee.  (If the buyer handles his/her own taxes and registration, there is no fee.)

About Us

Friendly Chevrolet is a family owned business which has its beginnings many years ago when Roy Eddins began working for a family named Hutton in Memphis Tennessee. The name of the dealership was Chuck Hutton Dodge. Roy worked his way up from the parts department to a management position in the 50's and in 1958 he was given the opportunity to go to Dallas, Texas to try to turn around a failing Dodge dealership that Mr. Hutton owned. Roy eagerly accepted the challenge and the Eddins family moved to Dallas in June of 1958 via a 13 hour Train ride. Roy was successful in turning the Dodge dealership around in just two months and continued to improve the dealership.

In 1960, he was given the opportunity to become a part owner and then was successful at getting approval from Dodge to relocate the dealership to the far north of Dallas at the corner of Lemmon Ave and Inwood Rd right next to a brand new Chevrolet dealership that has just relocated there named Friendly Chevrolet. In 1965 Roy's son, Mark, at 14 years old, started working in the dealership in the parts department just like his Dad did. Over the next 5 years, Roy continued to find success at the Dodge dealership, now named Hutton-Eddins, and Mark continued to work during the summers in all of the departments.

In 1970, the Chevrolet dealership right next door to Hutton-Eddins Dodge, Friendly Chevrolet, began to fail and the owner decided to sell it. Roy immediately started trying to buy the dealership and in September of 1970, made a deal with the help of his mentor, Mr. Hutton, bought Friendly Chevrolet. From 1970 until 1973 Mark was in College and selling cars during the summers at Friendly. In 1973, Mark became full-time and continued working his way through all of the positions in the dealership in all of the departments until in 1979, he earned the title of General Manager. The rest is history with Mark becoming the dealer on January 31st, 1984. In 1993, with the Dallas marketplace growing away from the Lemmon Ave and Inwood Rd. location, Mark embarked on a mission to move the dealership to another location to insure the family tradition and provide a stable future for himself and his employees.

After 5 years of planning including two years of fighting protests by Friendly's nearest competitor, Mark was successful in relocating the dealership in its present location at Inwood Rd. and Stemmons Freeway.

I am just offering a brief description here, if you have any detailed questions, please email me:  I am selling my 2007 Honda Civic Coupe LX (2 door). Color is Royal Blue
Pearl.  The odometer is at ~35,500 miles.  I am the only owner, purchased March of 2007.  Adult driven, mostly highway miles.  Manual 5-Speed
Transmission. Always dealer serviced (with Mobil 1 synthetic oil) at
7500 mile Honda-recommended intervals. I have ALL service records. It's
been waxed at least 2x per year. No accidents. Body is in great shape,
as is the interior. Only very minor wear.  There is a small ding (from a stone) on the hood and a small dime sized scratch near the license plate.  Other than that, no major issues. Clean
CarFax. VIN is 2HGFG11697H531008.

I just had the following service done in the past 2-3 weeks:

- Four New tires - Goodyear Eagles
- 35k mile service including an oil change - Mobil1 Synthetic oil as usual

- New brake pads in the front (rear drum brakes were OK per inspection)

- Pennsylvania State Inspection/Emissions, good through March 2011 - everything passed w/ no problems

- Detailed - washed/waxed/interior cleaned

It's ready to drive until 42,500 miles or for 6 months.

I love this car. The only reason I am selling is a growing family –
I need a bigger car. Otherwise I planned on keeping this for a long
